I worked with him for over two years and was so impressed by his creativity and foresight. He was able to look at the positive in all situations. We worked on all kinds of projects such as product brochures, cut sheets, flyers, bill inserts, marketing ads, catalogs, promotional aids, and much more. He was instrumental in producing quality materials for the sales force in our elevator company. His managerial skills were excellent, keeping a team of creatives focused on the task at hand to meet the deadlines and creating interesting and appealing collateral. I had the pleasure of working with Lee for a little over two years in the marketing department at thyssenkrupp Elevator. We worked on different teams, but I had a front-row seat to his incredible work and occasionally had a dependency on some of the sales collateral that his team produced. Lee successfully led a complete remake of our product and service brochures, produced video and still shoots, and so much more. He's a very talented creative manager, and what a super nice guy. Lee Dean is an immensely talented artist, designer and brand creator. He has been a great guy to work with these past 6-1/2 years. You would have to go far to find anyone equal to not only his creative talents (creator of the ubiquitous Block Buster logo) but also his ability to manage projects and tireless attention to detail. Lee’s wry witticisms and kind disposition also add to an already impressive package of skill sets. Anyone looking for an outstanding Chief Designer or Creative Director would be lucky to have him.

Our non-profit counseling center in East Tennessee chose Lee Dean Design to create our logo based on his outstanding reputation and award –winning designs. Although we were a thousand miles apart, it felt like our offices were right next door due to Lee’s excellent communication skills and responsiveness, from the beginning of the project to its completion.
In the early stages, he consulted with us at length to learn our mission, vision, and many other details. He then provided an amazing set of initial concepts along with his explanation and rationale behind each. All were insightful, intriguing, and unique. He allowed us freedom in choosing while providing his expert and professional guidance through each phase.
Our board voted unanimously and enthusiastically to accept the final logo he provided for us. He perfectly captured the essence of what the center hopes to convey through every aspect of his finished design, from concept to color and style. Lee truly has a gift. His creativity and ingenuity are completely off the charts. His talents and professional expertise have provided us a logo that we are proud of, one that stands apart from the rest, and will be relevant and meaningful for years to come.

I had the opportunity and good fortune to work with Lee while contracting at Behringer Harvard as a Sr. Copywriter. Lee was one of the Creative Directors and was always helpful in providing insight and guidance on projects. His skill level and artistry are evident in his portfolio. He also created some of BH's more compelling graphic designs for a stronger brand identity (e.g., Corbita). What I appreciated most though, was the example he set in continuing his education in the field and his determination to stay at the forefront of media arts. This is a trait we should all imitate.

Lee created a logo for my hobbyist bicycle frame building company. He was very responsive to my original request and was very professional in finding out what I wanted in the design. He then proceeded to provide me with several options and helped me narrow them down as we went along. We nailed what I wanted very quickly and I am completely satisfied with the logo he provided me.
